Vegetable & Flower Seed

Our vegetable, herb and flower seeds arrive in February.  We carry only non-GMO types and try to offer a good supply of short-season varieties.  Heirloom seeds are included in our mix.   We also offer wildflower seeds for spring and fall sowings.

Weed Prevention & Control

weedspraysWhether you need to control weeds in your lawn, garden, or concrete areas...we have organic and traditional types of products.

Remember...pre-emergent weed killers applied in early Spring will help stop many of your weed seeds before they have a chance to sprout.  (Just don't put it where you want to grow future seeds as it stops ALL seed from sprouting).   Sprays are the typical means of controlling weeds later in the season.   A GREAT organic means of controlling future weeds is by installing landscape fabric prior to planting.  Just cut a cross hatch to make a hole when you are ready to plant!   If you need some guidance...just ask...we'll try to give you a strategy that fits your needs.

Fungicides

Although Colorado has a dry climate, we do see fungus problems.  Aspens at a lower altitude almost always get black spot and some plants are just prone to powdery mildew.   Systemic and organic options are available.
