• Compost tree leaves and other organic debris
• Till in annual and vegetable gardens
• Wrap young trees with tree wrap ASAP
• Begin winter watering schedule—everything watered with a good drink at least once per month in the morning when temps are above 45 degrees
• Clean and store garden tools and lawn mower
• Use sand or kitty-litter on icy sidewalks or driveway—salt and chemicals may be harmful to concrete and surrounding plants including lawns
